Here at The Auto Den, we know that your vehicles can be more than just transportation, they can be expressions of who you are. Just as terrible as it can be to lose a house, it can be devastating to lose your vehicle. The Tampa Bay area sustained quite a bit of damage in 2024 with two major hurricanes impacting our immediate area all within two weeks of each other. The Auto Den was fortunate enough to escape damage to the building and no flooding in the area with both storms, and every vehicle in our care and custody remained perfectly safe. However, we know that several of our client’s homes were not as fortunate and had many customers left without a place to live. Then, to hear from a previous client that they had not just sustained damage to their house, but also lost their vehicle. This vehicle had been in our facility and they had just decided to take it back home when 5 feet of water flooded their garage in less than 15 minutes. We wish that hadn’t been the case and sympathize with what they have gone through. Insurance eventually replaced their vehicle, but they recognized the value that Auto Den provided and regretted not keeping their spot at our climate-controlled car storage facility. We are honored to have them back within our care and to be able to extend that peace of mind to them and to all of our clients. Let’s hope we have seen the worst of the hurricane seasons and put these storms behind us; in the event they surface again, The Auto Den is the best option to protect your car from wind, salt water, flooding, and damage.
